Who We Are
Hi, I'm Emmy, the founder of Wildflower Crafts.
Wildflower Crafts was born from a simple belief: we all need more opportunities to slow down, connect, and create.
As a lifelong nature lover, I've always been inspired by the beauty of wildflowers, forests, mountains, and the small wonders that surround us every day. Over the years, I found myself returning again and again to creative practices that help me feel grounded, present, and connected—not just to nature, but to myself and others.
What began as a love of crafting and natural beauty has grown into a community-centered experience where people gather to make something beautiful with their own hands. Whether we're creating pressed flower lanterns, terrariums, or other nature-inspired projects, the goal is always the same: to create a welcoming space where creativity, connection, and joy can flourish.
I believe creativity isn't about being artistic or "good at crafts." It's about giving yourself permission to play, explore, and create something uniquely your own. Some of my favorite moments happen when someone says, "I'm not creative," and then leaves with a project they're proud of and a smile on their face.
Through workshops, handmade creations, and special events, Wildflower Crafts invites people to reconnect with the simple pleasures of making, gathering, and celebrating the beauty of the natural world.
When I'm not crafting, you'll usually find me exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina, hiking with my dog, tending my garden, or dreaming up the next Wildflower Crafts project.
Thank you for being here. I hope you'll join us for one of our local workshops, create something beautiful, and become part of our growing Wildflower Crafts community.
With gratitude,
Emmy
